Fair Entry is Up and Working!!!!

   

We are thrilled to announce that Fair Entry is Online and working!  Please read below to make sure you you can enter easily and quickly.

Logging In:  You can use 4-H Online login to register if your county has approved it.  Currently these are the counties that have allowed the cross registration: Anson, Bladen, Chatham, Cumberland, Montgomery, Moore, Randolph, and Robeson.  If you are not from one of these counties then you will need to create a Fair Entry login, or if you currently have one you can just use that.

Fair Search:  When you sign in you are looking for the 2026 Robeson Regional Agricultural Fair.

Home Exhibits-Youth in 4-H Artastic have already been registered in the fair.  You don't need to do anything else.  If you have other items you are entering in the fair please feel free to do so.  All youth home exhibits are listed under section I-Youth except for open art which is section T.  Adults feel free to enter and bring in your items as well.

Livestock Shows- When you get in please look for the animal your child is showing.  K-Cattle, M-Meat Goats, and Q-Sheep.  Please sign your child up for the 4-H Showmanship Show in that category.  Then sign them up for the 4-H Market show in that category.  If youth would like to take part in our Adult/Youth Breeding Goat Show after the market show we would love for them to do that.  Parents if you are bringing a lot of goats you can also sign up to show in the ring if you like.

4-H Outbound Foreign Exchange Opportunities

 Announcing: 4-H Outbound Exchange Programs for 2027!

The summer has just ended and it’s already time to start thinking about your plans for next year! In 2027, NC 4-Hers will have the opportunity to travel abroad and experience cultural immersion by living with a host family in 5 different countries through our partnership with the States’ 4-H International Exchange Programs. Apply now through November 1 to start your life-changing journey!

-We will be hosting one or two interest meetings for youth and parents on Zoom in September and/or October. Learn program details and hear from participants who went abroad through these programs in 2026! The registration link will be sent out soon. 

-Adults 21+ with 4-H volunteer experience or Cooperative Extension staff members may be eligible to participate as chaperones! International travel experience and experience working with youth are required. Parents may not chaperone a trip where their own child is participating. Email Caitlin Clineff for more information on how to apply to be a chaperone at nc4-hinternationalprogram@ncsu.edu.

South Korea - July 7 to Aug 6

*Ages 12-18

*Homestay with 1-2 Korean 4-H families 

*Urban exploration in Seoul

Japan 4 week - July 7 to Aug 6

*Ages 12-18

*Homestay with a LABO/LEX Japanese family, with a host sibling of similar age and interests

*Attend LABO or LEX Camp 

*Visit LABO or LEX clubs with host family

Japan 8 week - June 9 to Aug 6

*Ages 15-18

*1st Month: Intensive group language-learning program in Tokyo, including cultural excursions in and around Tokyo. Host sibling not guaranteed. 

*2nd Month: All the same components as the Japan 4-week program (see above)

Application Deadline: Nov 1, 2026 

IMPORTANT: Please note the application will list a deadline of December 15, because that’s the deadline for State Coordinators to have all interviews completed and submitted. That is NOT the deadline to apply!

Dirty Dozen 4-H Club

 The Dirty Dozen 4-H Shooting Sports Club will meet on September 19th at the range.  The members have a business meeting prior to the club meeting and it is important that members be there.  To register for the meeting please click this link or go to the app under clubs and find the Dirty Dozen Club Link.  Youth must be actively registered in 4-H Online and have been approved by the volunteer leaders to attend this meeting.  If this is your first meeting and you have not gone through the paperwork please contact the 4-H office in advance at (910) 671-3276.

SE District Fall Day-Adult Volunteers

 

SED4-HVLA Fall Day will be November 7-8, held in North Topsail Beach. This is a great time for volunteers from across the southeast district to come together for networking, electing new officers, and a beachy craft. 

There are two options for registration: 

          Option 1: Saturday only - $25 

          Option 2: (limited space) - $75  

***Saturday Dinner is not included in registration cost***

Registration is due by September 30th, registration is not complete until payment is received!
