Interested in producing and preserving your own food? Rising food costs and supply chain issues created a growing desire for individuals to learn to be more self-reliant. North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Robeson County Center, will be offering a “Your Table, Your Food” Workshop series on a wide array of topics for individuals wanting to learn the basics of fruit, vegetable, meat, and egg production.
Whether attempting to grow it yourself or purchasing direct from our local farmers, knowing the basics of safe food production, handling, and preservation can help you get started on the right path to meeting your needs. Check out our upcoming workshops offered by our local Extension Agents. These workshops would even be great to get the whole family involved. Mark your calendars and let’s dig in together!
