Fall Programs in the Gardens!

Garden Buds
Friday, November 8, 10:30 am - Fall Magic ($)

Garden Buds is a hands-on, seasonal themed program for preschool aged children. Parents and caregivers explore different garden topics each month with their little ones through hands-on activities, creative art projects, garden walks, and stories.

Space is limited so we suggest registering to save your spot!
Tree-iffic Trees:
A Girl Scout Program for Cadettes
Sunday, November 10, 2019 – 2:30 pm

Spend the afternoon with activities all about trees! Learn about the parts of a tree and their functions, how trees are used in everyday life, create a craft with trees, and try your hand at pruning as part of this tree-iffic program. This program is designed to fulfill the requirements for Trees Badge.

Register as a troop or as individual scouts.  Leader or parent stays with the scouts during the program.  Space is limited to 40 scouts.  Advance registration is available online.
Holiday Creations
Friday, December 6, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm ($)

Our gardens are full of inspiration and materials to make holiday crafts. Come create holiday cheer with 5 festive craft projects using materials from the Arboretum's gardens.

Science Saturdays
Saturday, December 14, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm - Treasures from a Winter Garden ($)

Drop off your middle school student for a Saturday morning at the Yurt.  Students will tend the Yurt Yard vegetable garden, participate in fun science discoveries, and enjoy some tasty treats.

Advance registration is required!
