Horse Elegibility


Please see the following information from the State 4-H Horse program.

The 2020 NC 4-H Horse Program Eligibility Card Instructions are shared in the attached document.  In addition, this information has been posted on the Extension Horse Husbandry Website:  https://equinehusbandry.ces.ncsu.edu/2020/01/2020-nc-4-h-horse-program-eligibility-card-instructions/ 

Please share this information with the 4-H'ers in your county that are interested in showing horses in the current year.  PLEASE NOTE: There is not a specific deadline for the completion of the request form. However, youth need to be sure to have all paperwork (including eligibility cards) completed in time to meet entry deadlines for their selected qualifying show.  As soon as qualifying show packets are shared with EHH, we will post them on the website in this location: https://equinehusbandry.ces.ncsu.edu/qualifying-horse-show-information/
