We are excited to say we have another participant for Favorite 4-H Friday and that made it tough for our judges. Before we announce that, let's start with our youngest participants.
In our Cloverbud age division (5-7 year olds), we had one entry. Thomas Underwood said his favorite part of 4-H is his 4-H Agent, Miss Shea Ann. However since it is challenging to get a photo of her he decided to show a photo of him at his first official 4-H event, County Activity Day.
In our 8-10 year old age division we had one entry from Jahari Roberson. Jahari said her favorite part of 4-H is being creative. Her photo is of some of the creative things she has designed while she has been in 4-H. She has excelled in our Artastic Program that takes place in the fall.
In our Senior age division (14-18 year olds) we had two entries. Both of our participants, Kennedi Lyons and Maggie Underwood said their favorite part of 4-H are the friends they have made. Kennedi submitted a photo from her first 4-H Congress with her friends doing a hands to service project. Maggie submitted a collage of different activities and all the friends she has made over her years in 4-H. The judges determined that the collage showed a little extra effort and awarded Maggie first place and second went to Kennedi.
We have one more day of entries from Snapshot Saturday for our judges to go through. We will announce that by noon on Monday.
