-Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up for 4-H Congress. This program is open to our 14 year olds and up. It is virtual this year and will include all the fun things that we do in person such as leadership workshops, honor club tapping, game night, and much much more. There is a small fee for this program which we help with thanks to our United Way Funds. -The deadline to sign up for Jr. Chef virtual day camp will be Friday, June 25. This is for 4-H members ages 9-13. We will be focusing on some really sweet recipes, as in dessert recipes. Campers will get a kit with all sorts of great items to use as part of their camping experience. Camp will take place July 6-9. -We would like to wish all our competitors taking part in 4-H District Activity Day good luck. All of the videos have been uploaded and will be judged this week. We are also thrilled that we have two 4-H members taking part in outdoor cooking that will happen face to face this year, on Friday in Lenoir County. Let's wish all 11 of our competitors good luck with their competitions.
-Due to some updates on COVID policies we are excited to open up more slots for both Animal Science Day Camp and Biotech Day Camp. Both day camps are open to 9-13 year olds. We also have slots available for 4-H Overnight Camp that is the week of July 25-30. To register for that please come by the 4-H office and pay the $100 non refundable deposit and pick up your camp packet.
