State Photography Deadline Reminder

The State 4-H Photography Contest, now known as the Dr. Kim Ingold 4-H Photography Contest Deadline is Noon on August 17th.  Please see more information below about Dr. Kim Ingold and our categories for this year.  A google forms link is included on our app and at the bottom of this post for our 4-H members who would like to participate.  Dr. Kim Ingold was a friend to NC 4-H and especially Robeson County 4-H.  We hope our members will enter this contest in her memory.

Dr. Kim Ingold developed her love of photography as a Stanly County 4-H member. Throughout her 4-H career, Kim was involved in county, district, and state events, which developed her photography skills.  When Kim aged out of 4-H, she became a treasured 4-H volunteer, attending most state level 4-H events to capture our memories through her photography. She was passionate about educating youth in any way she could. Kim was always there with camera in hand and more importantly there with a smile, a kind word, and a hug. Kim's life was tragically cut short by an automobile accident.  She will forever be missed in the North Carolina 4-H family.

Each year one category changes and two stay the same.  The new category for 2021: My Best Friend (People, Pets, What/Who Ever). Capture the spirit of your best friend! Use your ace photography skills to capture your best friend in action! Our other categories are 4-H in Action and Nature's Beauty.
