Youth grab a partner, grab a phone, and get creative! North Carolina Farm Bureau is celebrating National Farm Safety & Health Week with a Safety Video Contest — and your FFA Chapter or 4-H Club could win $500!
This year’s theme is Cancer Prevention in Agriculture.
We’re challenging FFA Chapters and 4-H Clubs across North Carolina to create a 30-second, TikTok-style safety video showing how farmers, farm families, and agricultural workers can reduce their risk of cancer.
THE CHALLENGE
Create a 30-second vertical video focusing on Cancer Prevention and Agriculture.
Possible topics include:
️ Sun & UV Protection — sunscreen, protective clothing, hats, sunglasses, shade
Pesticide Safety — proper handling, PPE, following label directions
Respirator Use — choosing and properly wearing respiratory protection
Personal Protective Equipment
Or another creative way to highlight cancer prevention in agriculture!
Be creative! Make it funny, memorable, educational, dramatic, or unique — just make sure your safety message is accurate.
CASH PRIZES!
FFA Chapters and 4-H Clubs will be judged separately, giving both groups the opportunity to win!

IMPORTANT CONTEST RULES
The contest is open to active FFA Chapters and 4-H Clubs. Collegiate organizations are not eligible.
Videos should be approximately 30 seconds long and recorded vertically in a TikTok/social-media style.
Most importantly, safety comes first! Videos that feature, encourage, or highlight unsafe behaviors or attitudes will be disqualified. Never perform an unsafe act just to make a video.
All submitted videos become property of the NC Farm Bureau Safety Team and may be used in future agricultural safety education and promotion.
WINNERS
Winners will be announced September 25, 2026 on NC Farm Bureau social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
National Farm Safety & Health Week is a great opportunity to get young people talking about safety — and we want FFA and 4-H members to help spread that message!
30 seconds. One important safety message. A chance to win $500 for your Chapter or Club.
We can’t wait to see what your students create!
