We are so excited to announce we have new leadership for the Art Hub 4-H SPIN Club and the club is
getting ready to have it's first meeting/outing. Our new club leader is someone familiar to our 4-H families and has been part of the 4-H program for mosts of her life. She was prolific in our summer programs, county programs and was a teen leader growing up in 4-H. She is also a talented artist and photographer, winning more blue ribbons than you can imagine at the state fair. Most recently she has helped us with our 4-H Summer Fun Programs and is excited about taking on the responsibilities of a club, while attending college in the area. We are thrilled to announce that 4-H Alum and now 4-H Adult Volunteer Brooke Canady will be heading up this effort. Brooke is excited to introduce youth to a variety of arts and just see what they like and learn from. Expect experiences, hands on make and takes, as well as other fun adventures with this club.

For the clubs first, get to know you outing, we are excited to announce a trip to see one of the most famous ballets of all time, Swan Lake. This is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. Despite its initial failure, it is now one of the most popular ballets of all time. The production will take place at UNCP Campus at givens Performing Arts Center on February 28. We will provide transportation from our office (leaving at 6 pm) for folks that would like to travel together, or you can meet us at GPAC (at 6:30). Youth tickets will be free and adults who would like to attend will have a discounted price. To sign up for this adventure please click on this link. All youth attending must be actively registered in 4-H Online to attend. For questions about this opportunity please contact Jade McNeill at (910) 671-3276 or Jade_McNeill@ncsu.edu.
