4-H Top 4 for the Week of February 1, 2021

Welcome to February everyone!  We are excited to be jumping into a new month and we would like to thank all of our participants in Projects Records, Honor Club, and Scholarships for submitting their work last month.  Way to go and good luck with judging.

-Club Leaders-we need your club paperwork ASAP.  The deadline to turn it in was last Friday and with the new 4-H Online we have to upload it to your clubs to make it official.  So please get it turned in as soon as possible.  If you have any questions please contact Wendy Maynor at wrmaynor@ncsu.edu.  Thank you to those clubs who have gotten their paperwork turned in already.  We are in the process of reviewing and uploading it right now.

-Speaking of 4-H Online.  The new version 2.0 is out and we plan to release it later this week.  There are a couple of issues we have found so we are working our way through that before the grand release.  Please be on the lookout for that email and announcement on the app.  When you get it please go in and reregister to be eligible for all 4-H programs.

-We have a lot of great virtual programs available in our app in February.  Please go to programs to register.  Some our being offered here in our county others are being offered by other 4-H professionals in the state.  Please check them out and if something interests you please go ahead and register.

-We would like to remind our volunteers who are signed up for NC 4-H Volunteer Leaders Conference that you will get your zoom link later this week for the conference.  It is being held Friday -Saturday and looks like a lot of fun.  You should have also received a package in the mail from state with gifts and items for Friday's workshop.

If you would like details about programs please check our 4-H Blog (kind of like an electronic newsletter) at www.robeson4-H.blogspot.com.  You can also find the blog on our app under news.  Click on the blog tab at the top of that screen.

If you have any questions about programs please contact Shea Ann or Wendy at sadejarn@ncsu.edu or wrmaynor@ncsu.edu.

One last thing....parents and volunteers we are in need of your thoughts.  We are thinking about offering County Activity Day as a hybrid event (to be determined based on a variety of factors).  Please click on this link https://forms.gle/yaygSxJ1neduD8766 to let us know your thoughts and how you think you might be participating in this event.  This survey is anonymous so you can change your mind about participating at any time.  It is just two questions to let us know how you feel and if we should take the time to pursue this.

Thank you for your time.  We are looking forward to hearing from you.  Happy February!

Wendy, Christy, and Shea Ann
