Looking for more ways to spend time together as a family?
4-H Healthy Living has an exciting new opportunity for youth ages 7+ and their families. In March, we will be holding our first ever “Health Habits Family Weekend!”
This is an exciting virtual event for families to experience a holistic approach to food and nutrition education with these activities:
Hands to Seed: Safety & Sanitation
Seed to Sprouts: Growing Good Food & Parts of Plants
Sprouts to Harvest: Filling MyPlate
Harvest to Fork: Cooking Up Confidence
Mark your calendars! A fabulous team of facilitators is excited to see you on March 13th and 14th. There will be fun challenges, webinars, and at-home activities for you to bond together as a family.
When you register you'll receive a kit in the mail with supplies to help you along the way. Each participant will also receive a copy of Cooking Up Confidence, a 4-H interactive cookbook!
Tickets are $5 each and we have a limited number available.
NC State University and N.C. A&T State University work in tandem, along with federal, state and local governments, to form a strategic partnership called N.C. Cooperative Extension.
Extension's 4-H program is the largest youth development organization in North Carolina. We help over 247,000 young people grow into active, contributing citizens each year.
Accommodation requests related to a disability should be made by March 1st to Kenan Bridges at kbridge3@ncsu.edu.
