On Sunday at noon we will say GO! This is a brand new exciting opportunity for our 4-H members and should be something fun allowing them to use their head, hearts, hands, and encourage staying healthy. Each day starting Sunday At noon we will announce the days Challenge across our social media platforms and here on our blog.
The week long 4-H challenge is pretty simple.
-To be a part you have to be an active or current member of Robeson County 4-H (enrollment in current in 4-H Online).
-All entries must be original and 4-H appropriate.
-Entries must be received by noon the following day (so Sunday’s challenge must be received by noon Monday) at Shea_Ann_DeJarnette@ncsu.edu.
The limit it the child's imagination. They could create something on the sidewalk with chalk, write a poem and recite it, demonstrate in a video, draw on a piece of paper. Take a photo or video of their challenge entry and send it in to Shea Ann DeJarnette, 4-H Extension Agent at the email above. Entires will be sent to an independent committee to judge each day. First, second, and third place winners will be announced in each of the following age groups 8-10, 11-13, 14-18, each day. Cloverbuds, 5-7 year olds will receive recognition for participation. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest. Entires will be posted on our blog along with winner announcements.
Good luck to everyone! If you have questions or comments please contact Shea_Ann_DeJarnette@ncsu.edu.
