4-H Top 4 for the week of April 20, 2020

Good morning everyone.  Hope you are well and staying safe.  Please note some of the items below may have changed since they were published last week due to the changing nature and handling of COVID-19.  We would encourage you to read these through.

-4-H Volunteer Training April 20th.  We will still hold that training with our partner counties over zoom.  The topic will be leading virtually and managing a virtual environment.  The training will take place at 6 pm as we normally have our trainings.  Although we can't feed you feel free to join us while you are having a meal.  Please email Shea_Ann_DeJarnette@ncsu.edu for a link or phone number to the training.

-SE 4-H District Teen Retreat will be Virtual.  It will be held on a zoom session April 23, 6-8:30 pm.  Thank you to all our youth who registered for the event.  You will be getting a link from us soon and have the opportunity to vote for district officers.  Keep an eye out for those emails.

-4-H Summer Fun-At this time we are cancelling our face to face version of Summer Fun through July.  We will refund money to those that registered.  We will send out a letter with checks as soon as we can make that happen.  We have been told that at this time programming for August is back on for F2F.  There will be virtual opportunities available for learning in June and July and we will let you know what that looks like as soon as we know.

-4-H Overnight Camp has been cancelled face to face.  We will offer folks already registered the opportunity for refunds, or to allow their payments to carry over for next year.  A letter will be sent to those registered with more details.

That is all for today.  If you have any questions please contact any member of the 4-H office at (910) 671-3276 or feel free to email us.

Thank you for your kindness, creativeness, and patience during this time.
Jessie, Wendy, and Shea Ann
