Volunteer Training Opportunity

COVID-19 has made some interesting changes to how we do things.  It has created challenges as well as opportunities.  One of those opportunities is at our feet right now.  Virginia Cooperative Extension is inviting 4-H Volunteers in other states to take part in their online Volunteer Conference April 25, 2020.  This event is free to those who register.  Below is the information from the event organizers or you can download the flyer from here.  As a volunteer if you decide to register please let your 4-H staff know so that you can get credit for the training.

In the wake of the current crisis we were forced to cancel the normal face-to-face spring conference of the Virginia Association of Adult 4-H Volunteer Leaders.  In its place, we are proud to offer a one day virtual volunteer conference with some wonderful sessions to provide high quality skill and leadership development.  While the conference is 4-H focused, many of these sessions will be applicable to Extension professionals and/or volunteers outside 4-H as well.
