Can't Wait to Hear the Sounds of the Fair?

Well one way for our 4-H youth to do that is to be part of our 4-H Animal Science project.  This is where youth raise animals to show at the fair.  This year we are offering rabbits, goats, laying hens, broilers, and turkeys.  Parents you can register your youth and pay by check or with a credit card online this year.  The registration link is https://forms.gle/TkXyV7Qrn6CMFTsbA.  We caution you to read all the instructions carefully.  Also note if you chose to pay by credit card online there is a convenience fee added into each project to help off set the processing fees.

The deadline to register for this project is May 7.  Youth will pick up their animals in June.  We will determine the pick up guidelines based on the COVID protocols in place at that time.  We appreciate you bearing with us as we determine the best way to do this for the health and safety of our entire 4-H family.

Youth are expected to show their animals at the Robeson Regional Agricultural fair which will take place October 1-9.  More information will be provided about the dates of the shows and youth, along with one parent, will be given a pass to enter the fair for the night of their show.

For more information about this project please contact the Robeson County 4-H Staff at (910) 671-3276.
