4-H Citizenship Focus

A new era in Citizenship this year as we move our state program, NC Citizenship Focus to a virtual reality.  This year the program is open to all active 4-H members (registered in 4-H Online) between the ages of 14-18.  The event will take place on zoom from 1-4 pm June 15-17.  You may also take part in the optional Ice Cream Social June 16 at 7:30 pm.  You will learn about youth advocacy and local and state government thanks to this event that involves youth from across the state.
Usually this is a once in a 4-H career event, however thanks to the virtual platform this year you can take part again if you have done it in the past, and if you have not taken part it will still be open to you to go on this trip even if you take part in the virtual experience this year.  There is no cost to this event, however there are some things to note.
-Deadline to register with Wendy Maynor is May 22 by 5 pm.
-If you register you are expected to take part from 1-4 pm June 15-17.
-For more information please contact Shea Ann DeJarnette, 4-H Extension Agent.
